अमरत्व की लालसा ( Longing for immortality )

सिकंदर उस जल की तलाश में था, जिसे पीने से मानव अमर हो जाते हैं.!

Alexander was looking for the water that humans become immortal by drinking.

काफी दिनों तक  दुनियाँ में भटकने के पश्चात आखिरकार उस ने वह जगह पा ही ली, जहाँ उसे अमृत की प्राप्ति हो

After wandering in the world for a long time, he finally found the place where he got the nectar.

उसके सामने ही अमृत जल बह रहा था, वह अंजलि में अमृत को लेकर पीने के लिए झुका ही था कि तभी एक बुढा व्यक्ती जो उस गुफा के भीतर बैठा था, जोर से बोला,  रुक जा, यह भूल मत करना...!’

Nectar water was flowing in front of him, he had bowed down in Anjali to drink the nectar when an old man who was sitting inside the cave said loudly, stop, don't forget it.

बड़ी दुर्गति की अवस्था में था वह बुढा !

He was in a state of great misery.

सिकंदर ने कहा, ‘तू रोकने वाला कौन...?’

Alexander said, "Who are you to stop ?

बुढे ने उत्तर दिया, ..मैं अमृत की तलाश में था और यह गुफा मुझे भी मिल गई थी !, मैंने यह अमृत पी लिया !

The elder replied, .. I was looking for nectar and I had found this cave too !, I drank this nectar !

अब मैं मर नहीं सकता, पर मैं अब मरना चाहता हूँ... ! देख लो मेरी हालत...अंधा हो गया हूँ, पैर गल गए हैं,  *देखो...अब मैं चिल्ला रहा हूँ...चीख रहा हूँ...कि कोई मुझे मार डाले, लेकिन मुझे मारा भी नहीं जा सकता !

I can't die now, but I want to die now.. ! See my condition ... I am blind, my legs are sore, look ... Now I am screaming ... screaming ... that someone should kill me, but I cannot be killed !

अब प्रार्थना कर रहा हूँ  परमात्मा से कि प्रभु मुझे मौत दे !

Now I am praying to God that God may give me death !

 सिकंदर  चुपचाप गुफा से बाहर वापस लौट आया, बिना अमृत पिए !

Alexander quietly returned out of the cave, without drinking nectar!

सिकंदर समझ चुका था कि जीवन का आनन्द उस समय तक ही रहता है, जब तक हम उस आनन्द को भोगने की स्थिति में होते हैं !

Alexander had understood that the joy of life remains only as long as we are in a position to enjoy that joy !

इसलिए स्वास्थ्य की रक्षा कीजिये !

So protect your health !

जितना जीवन मिला है,उस जीवन का भरपूर आनन्द लीजिये ! हमेशा खुश रहिये दुनियां में सिकंदर कोई नहीं, वक्त ही सिकंदर है..
